Arborio rice is traditionally used to make creamy risotto rice. It originates from northern Italy and is a medium to long grain rice. It would be considered the best all-round rice for cooking. Arborio rice is so creamy as it can absorb a lot of liquid while cooking, but yet it retains a nice ‘bite’ when fully cooked.
