Ingredients and Materials

This quick release tourniquet is manufactured from latex-free elastic or synthetic rubber (such as medical-grade silicone or neoprene alternatives) and features a durable quick-release buckle made from medical-grade polymer (ABS or polypropylene). Materials are chosen for stretch retention, patient comfort, and ease of cleaning. Product is non-sterile unless specified.

How to Use

1. Wash hands and put on gloves per facility protocol.
2. Position the patient and select the venipuncture site.
3. Apply the tourniquet 3–4 inches (7–10 cm) above the intended puncture site, tightening just enough to restrict venous return and make the vein prominent.
4. Perform venipuncture or blood draw as trained. Release the tourniquet immediately after blood flow is established or as directed—use the quick-release buckle for safe, rapid removal.
5. Clean or dispose of the tourniquet according to facility infection control policies; do not use on multiple patients unless cleaned and approved for reuse.
