Ingredients and Materials

Primapore island dressings consist of a central low‑adherent wound contact layer and absorbent pad, surrounded by a soft, conformable adhesive border and a protective backing. Materials typically include a non‑woven absorbent pad, a low‑adherent wound contact layer and a breathable adhesive film/border formulated for medical use. The dressing is supplied sterile and for single use.

How to Use

1. Wash and dry hands before handling the sterile dressing.
2. Cleanse the wound as directed by a clinician and ensure surrounding skin is dry.
3. Open the sterile pack and remove the dressing without touching the wound contact pad.
4. Centre the absorbent pad over the wound and smooth the adhesive border to secure; avoid stretching the adhesive.
5. Change the dressing when saturated, soiled, or per clinical advice. Dispose of after single use.
