How to Use

1. Perform hand hygiene and prepare the insertion site using aseptic technique.
2. Select an appropriate vein and apply a tourniquet as needed.
3. Remove device from packaging; hold bevel up and insert needle-catheter unit into the vein until flashback appears.
4. Advance the catheter hub gently into the vein while holding the needle steady, then withdraw and dispose of the needle in a sharps container.
5. Secure the catheter with sterile dressing and connect IV tubing or cap; flush per facility protocol to confirm patency.
6. Label site with date/time and monitor for signs of infiltration, phlebitis or infection.
