The Irish Botanica® Mushroom range has been formulated in consultation with Martin Powell, biochemist and Chinese herbalist, and author of Medicinal Mushrooms: A Clinical Guide, in association with Irish Medical Herbalist, David Foley M.N.I.M.H and M.R.C.H.M.

Lion’s Mane (Hericium Erinaceus Mushroom) is an edible and medicinal mushroom belonging to the tooth fungus group. Named due to its resemblance to a lion’s mane, Lion’s Mane is thought to help maintain nerve growth and brain cell growth, and has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine as a brain tonic, aiming to aid focus and memory.
